Managed services and maintenance

Operation of your platforms with defined service levels (SLA), after every migration or development.

After go-live, operations rest on a handful of people, with no written procedures and no clear service commitment.

With managed services, NEXTBIT takes over the operation of your platforms after a migration or a development, or takes on an existing system after an assessment. The contract sets the scope, the support hours, business hours or extended, and the service levels (SLA). We apply updates and security patches on an agreed schedule, follow every incident through to resolution and keep the operations documentation up to date. Each month, an activity report sets out the work carried out.

What we do

  • Daily monitoring of servers, databases and applications
  • Incident and request handling within the agreed service levels
  • Scheduled updates and security patches, with a rollback plan ready
  • Backup checks and regular restore tests
  • Up-to-date operations documentation and a monthly activity report

  • A clear monthly account of the work done

Frequently asked questions

Can you take over a system you did not build?

Yes. We start with an assessment: architecture, access rights, backups, procedures and weak points. The necessary fixes are made before we take charge or built into the improvement plan. Service levels are committed only once this assessment has been shared with you.

What support hours do you offer?

Support is provided during business hours or extended hours, depending on the contract. For 24/7 coverage, we rely on our partners, with shared escalation procedures. Hours, priorities and how requests are handled are agreed together and written into the contract.

Do we keep control of our systems?

Yes. You remain the owner of the systems, the access rights and the data. The operations documentation is handed over to you and kept up to date, and your teams can be trained to take back all or part of operations when the contract ends.
