Owner-side assistance and PMO
Steering committees, schedule, budget and risk tracking, acceptance testing, change management.
The challenge
A strategic project drifts without anyone seeing it coming: deadlines slip, budgets overrun, deliverables are accepted without checks.
With owner-side assistance, NEXTBIT works alongside you and on your behalf, facing suppliers and delivery teams. We set up project governance, lead steering committees and track schedule, budget and risks with shared indicators. We prepare and run acceptance testing against criteria agreed in advance, then support users through the change. You keep the decisions; we give you an accurate view of progress and of any gap between plan and reality.
What we do
- Project management plan and the governance that goes with it
- Steering and technical committees led, with written minutes
- Tracking of schedule, budget and the risk register
- Acceptance test plans prepared and acceptance testing conducted
- Change management plan: communication, user training and support

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between owner-side assistance and the main contractor?
The main contractor builds the system. Owner-side assistance represents the project owner: it defines the requirements, checks that delivery meets them and defends your interests. NEXTBIT takes on this role independently, with no tie to the supplier in charge of delivery.
Can you step into a project already under way?
Yes. We start with a project assessment: contracts, schedule, deliverables and risks. We then present a factual status report and a recovery plan, and take over steering with your teams and the suppliers already engaged.
How does acceptance testing work?
Acceptance criteria are set with you before testing begins. We write the test scenarios, organise testing with users, track defects until they are fixed and draw up the acceptance reports. A deliverable is accepted only when it meets the agreed criteria.
