Your data moves through files, emails and re-keying, with no reliable record of who sent what, or when.

Secure interconnection links your systems to those of your partners and to tax, banking and social security platforms through standardised exchanges. NEXTBIT designs the exchange layer on the X-Road model: API gateway, interface contracts documented in OpenAPI, mutual authentication and encrypted flows. Every message is signed, time-stamped and written to a searchable audit log. We start from a map of your data flows, validate the architecture on a pilot exchange, then connect the remaining flows one by one, with a rollback plan at each step.

What is the X-Road model?

It is an architecture for data exchange between organisations: each member keeps its data at home and exposes it through secured services. Messages are encrypted, signed and logged on both sides. We apply its principles with open components, adapted to your context.

Do we need to replace our existing applications to interconnect them?

No. The gateway sits in front of your current applications and translates their data into standard formats. When an application has no API, we build a suitable connector. Your systems keep running throughout the connection work, without unplanned downtime.

How is the personal data being exchanged protected?

Each flow carries only the data needed for its purpose. Exchanges are encrypted, access is authenticated and every lookup is logged. We document these rules to help you comply with law 18-07 on the protection of personal data.
