Specifications and procurement support
Requirements definition, vendor-neutral technical specifications, evaluation grid, bid analysis.
The challenge
Vague or vendor-oriented specifications produce bids that cannot be compared, disputes and projects that drift.
This service helps you buy right. NEXTBIT translates your business needs into clear, verifiable technical requirements, writes vendor-neutral specifications with no imposed brand, and builds an objective evaluation grid. During the tender period, we prepare answers to bidders' technical questions, then analyse the bids received and hand a reasoned report to the committee. We do not resell hardware or licences: our advice is not tied to any supplier.
What we do
- Requirements workshops with users, the IT team and the procurement department
- Technical specifications: functions, performance, security, interoperability, reversibility and skills transfer
- Weighted evaluation grid and scoring criteria defined before publication
- Answers to bidders' technical questions during the tender period
- Comparative bid analysis and reasoned report for the tender committee

Frequently asked questions
Do the specifications comply with public procurement rules?
Yes. We write the technical part in coordination with your procurement department, which remains responsible for the legal and administrative framework. Requirements are worded in a neutral, verifiable way, with no imposed brand, which makes bids easier to compare and reduces the risk of disputes.
Can you step in on a tender that is already under way?
Yes. We can analyse the bids received, prepare requests for clarification to bidders and write the technical evaluation report. If the specifications have weaknesses, we point them out and propose corrections in case the tender has to be relaunched.
Can NEXTBIT then bid on the same tender itself?
No, never on a tender we have prepared. It is a neutrality rule: we do not write specifications and then bid on them. Our recommendations therefore serve only your interests, and the procedure stays clear of any suspicion of conflict of interest.
